Before Mowamowa met Mr. Yaji, she lived a pretty harsh life. She was sometimes bullied by local sergal brats and was occasionally bothered by two local male stalkers, named "Boor" and "Cap". (As their names show, the stalker bearing a hat is named "Cap".) Boor and Cap were very insistent, harassing and pressuring her. Despite Mowamowa’s refusals, they often tried to forcibly mate with her. However, in the story's beginning, they are interrupted by Mr. Yaji, and so begins a much kinder life for Mowamowa. 日本語: ゴールドリング日常漫画
Daily life of Gold Ring is a comic following various stories in the modern era (around 70's on the Rain Calendar) Gold Ring, including the daily life of Mr. Yaji the Eastern sergal and the young female Talyxian-Stalker named Fuwafuwa (actual name is Mowamowa), and everything surrounding of them. Because their timeline is after the great war with General Rain Silves and is considered the modern times, almost everything is peaceful with no painful stories that are often seen in other Vilous settings.
These comics were created around 2014 and released on Mick Ono's twitter, as her personal fun doodles. Thus, the visual information might not be strict and current canon.
Mowamowa meets Mr. Yaji
As Mowamowa does not reveal her name, Mr. Yaji calls her “Fuwafuwa”, which means ‘fluff’.
Creepy Scabs: Mowamowa Goes to Hospital
One day, Mr. Yaji is petting Mowamowa as usual. However, he finds a strange scab on her right foreleg.
While Mr. Yaji is transporting her to Nao's Hospital, Mowamowa manages to slip out of the mesh bag to become more comfortable, but Mr. Yaji doesn’t notice until they arrive at their destination. He is surprised to see her free, but due to his carefree, easygoing sergal nature, he worries little about how or why she slipped out of the mesh bag — especially since she seems to show little signs of wanting to escape. In the waiting room, there is a young Talyxian-Stalker named Shirokuro, who is kept as a resident pet of the hospital. Being a young cat, Shirokuro is still undecided about their actual gender (to learn more about this, please read the section "Reproduction and gender system" in the Talyxian-Stalker article). Shirokuro is polite, but also a very curious cat. They ask both Mr. Yaji and Mowamowa several questions while they await medical attention. Shirokuro's intellectual curiosity is a specific quirk of their personality and one that is rather rare to T-stalkers. In the consulting room, Dr. Nao is shown to be a Talyxian-Rooter and is the head doctor of this hospital, and is accompanied by a male nevrean nurse. Mr. Yaji attempts to show Mowamowa's scabs to the doctor, but Mowamowa suddenly feels uncomfortable and bristles up, issuing her unique and characteristic "kfff" hiss to signal her displeasure.
Mowamowa suddenly feels very uncomfortable and bristles up during the hospital consultation, issuing her unique and characteristic "kfff" hiss to signal her displeasure. Thankfully, Dr. Nao is very calm and nothing seems to ruffle him. Dr. Nao deploys a "mysterious and interesting cube", which effectively acts as a distraction toy to calm the excited Talyxian-Stalker down. Mowamowa rapidly loses her uneasy feelings, paying attention to the cube instead of the fact that she is in a hospital examination room! This makes it much easier for the T-Rooter and his nevrean assistant to examine her. But to be safe, Dr. Nao suspects the possibility of the little kitten having a disease known as deovi. Deovi is a kind of fungal infection similar to ringworm on Earth, also known as tinea — the cause of Athlete's foot. Dr. Nao collects a sample for analysis.
Mowamowa's consultation goes well. Mowamowa and Shirokuro find ways to entertain themselves while Mr. Yaji awaits the prescribed medicine. Shirokuro plays a good deal with Mowamowa, giving her chewing gum, and singing a funny children's song to her. It is just children's play but Shirokuro has very good manners. But Yaji tells Shirokuro his address, making playtime meet ups for the two stalkers much easier. The mentioned “Two Maples” are located in western Gold Ring, near part of the Docos shopping mall that extends into other parts of the city.
Mr. Yaji's daily life
Today, Mr. Yaji is cleaning his house. He beats the dust and dirt out of his comforter using a carpet beater, pausing when he notices that this particular blanket has become mangy and torn up from prolonged usage. Returning to his cleaning regiment, Mr. Yaji goes on to clean up accumulated dust from various surface areas using a duster. As a finishing touch, he uses his gasoline powered, engine-driven air cleaner after yanking a pull cord in order to turn it on. The "air cleaner" Mr. Yaji is using is an engine-powered apparatus which runs on gasoline fuel made out of the flammable fruit, Fire-Loquats. The device is very effective at filtering out dust from the room. However, it should not run continuously for over 10 minutes due to the amount of exhaust gas it can produce.
Mr. Yaji has finished cleaning his entire house. Mowamowa was playing near the air cleaner, but after a warning from Yaji and then being startled by his hand tapping the air cleaner, she stays out of the way and avoids the cleaner. Upon opening up the air cleaner, Mr. Yaji discovers that a thick layer of dust has accumulated in the filter — more than he expected. After lamenting how wasteful it would be to throw the used filter away, a moment of inspiration leads the innovative sergals towards crafting it into something new. He sets his plans into motion while listening to the radio weather forecast. The product of his labors is a new comforter: the 'cotton' interior is made up from the dust-clogged filter, and Mr. Yaji's old comforter serves as the outer cover. Mr. Yaji gives this as a gift to the T-Stalkers, Boor and Cap as a surprise gift. As is typical of many sergals, he holds no grudge or hostility for their prior bad behavior. The two young cats receive the present with delighted gratitude. In fact, Boor is especially pleased and impressed, praising Mr. Yaji with divine names. Boor and Cap may never realize this comforter was created from dusty trash and Yaji thinks nothing of using his household rubbish as a gift. Truly, a happy ending for everyone!
Other Mr. Yaji and Mowamowa daily life
One day, Mr. Yaji goes to pet Mowamowa as usual and give her a big hug. However, he was given a nasty surprise: a sharp bite from Talyxian bugs! While the comic is titled "Hug Bugs", they don't have an actual name other than simply "bugs". Mowamowa was outside earlier in the day, leading to her being exposed to a variety of pests. These creatures hitched a ride in her fur without her ever being aware of her unwanted passengers. This comic is merely a random scene from daily life on Planet Tal and should be taken lightly, though it does carry a lesson of its own: next time you visit the city of Gold Ring, be aware that it is quite risky to touch cats with your bare hands without first washing or grooming them with a comb — especially if they were outside earlier! Note: in the second panel there is a calendar hanging on the wall with text that reads "Month 14". While this may seem like an interesting glimpse into the world of Vilous, please keep in mind that these "Daily Life" comics were created around 2014 and released on Mick's twitter as her personal fun doodles. Thus, the visual information might not be strictly adherent current canon. While Tal is an alien planet and certainly may have more than 12 months compared to our Earthly calendar, it is not yet known how many days are in a year, or how those days are divided up into months.
Mr. Yaji's old days
In the past, Yaji worked in the Primitive creatures measures branch office.
But he was self-conscious and eager to show off when he was young, and he came to have his left foot numbed by the paralytic poison of a tentacle-creature that he handled carelessly.
This came to reflect badly on his work, so he changed his job, becoming a common guard.
Mowamowa's old days
Mowamowa was bullied by bratty sergal children.
