This page is a glossary of terms comprising the most important basics of the world of Vilous, and a short summary of each term.

World and Places

A meanings which each name refer to.

Vilous - Name of the sun in the Vilous universe. Also the collective name of the fictional universe and all of its contents.
Planet Tal - Name of the planet orbiting the sun Vilous.

Important places existing on the planet Tal.

Gold Ring - Greatest city located in Southern Tal. The main setting of most of the World of Vilous comic.
Shigu - Place name and kingdom located in Northern Tal.
Reono - Place name located in Eastern Tal.
Nevrea - Place name located in Western Tal.
Sailzane - Greatest desert zone located in Central Tal.

Important races and creature classifications on planet Tal.

Eltus - Classification of creatures, including races. They are the main characters in the original stories.
- Sergals - Sentient Eltus race. They refer to and consider each other as a "human".
- Agudners - Sentient Eltus race. They refer to and consider each other as a "human".
- Nevreans - Sentient Eltus race. They refer to and consider each other as a "human", but they had not been recognized as a human from other races until RC70.
Talyxians - Classification of creatures, including races. They are the side of alien beings on the original stories.
Tal's Wildlife - Native creatures on planet Tal including Talyxians.

Important terms specific to the Vilous universe.

Human - Another way of calling existence which can be recognized as a sentient race, basically used by three Eltus races composed of Sergals, Agudners, and Nevreans.
Rain Calendar, or RC for short - Years after B.C.E, beginning with the birth of Rain Silves.
Alien Biomes - Another way of calling Talyxian Biomes.
Hizomi-Nonbon - A kind of excrement of Talyxian creatures after ingesting salts.
Miasma - Some sort of gas produced by some Talyxian plants in northern and eastern regions. It has mind-altering properties to Eltus races.
Green Plants - Another way of calling Eltus plants. They are rare and precious compared to Talyxian plants.
Judda - A physical concept in Eltus, describing an unusually beautiful being, who is regarded as almost sacred. Also the name of social concept and public figure in Gold Ring.
Out Ring - Outlaws or bandits living in the desert around Gold Ring.
Sabi no Wa - Progressive movement founded by Urban Nevreans in Gold Ring since RC70.

Rain Silves a.k.a General Rain - Mutant female Northern Sergal. She caused Tal's world war, and brought great influences and changes on all of Tal.
Kadd - Male Eastern Sergal. Companion of General Rain, staff officer in Shigu forces.
Leeric - Male Northern Sergal. Companion of General Rain, leader of attackers in Shigu forces.
Jakk - Male Northern Sergal. Known as a son of General Rain.
Bakku Tomaa - Male Agudner from Reono, survives Tal's world war.
Yun Yagili - Female Urban Nevrean. A very mysterious person, but rumored as the head of Sabi no Wa.
Quu - Male Urban Nevrean. After the Judda system was founded in Gold Ring, he was chosen as official Judda.
Yaji Telber - Male Sergal from Reono, and living in Gold Ring. Main character in the Daily life of Gold Ring comic series.
