Biology
Their wild species inhabit in the Sailzane desert, areas where are filled with stones and desert plants comparatively. Their existence is familiar to people as a kind of small animals living around the Gold Ring.
It is classified as Talyxian, but they are thought to be closer to Eltus, those related to shellfish (snail). Many Talyxian creatures that live in the desert seem to have this property.
They have two short tactile organs in their butt, is used when moving as their legs. They can run quite fast with their tactile legs, but they often tumble fall down.
Their eyes are on their heads, but it is used when only they are resting under the sand and checking the surroundings. Their mouth is probably on between wrinkles.
Their size is small, is reach to half of palm.
Their skin is slightly rough, wrinkled, feels like our heels. It protects them from drying and salt.
Ecology
They are omnivorous.
They are sleeping in sand during the daytime, but they walk actively with two legs at night.
There are few natural enemies in the desert, but because there are not many foods, they living by a few.
Relation with people and city
Gold Ring citizen people often keep them as pets. they breed more smaller things and color changes are being developed. Sometimes dyed hamster are made, but somewhat more expensive than dyed rat.
At the festival, they will often be sold to children. (sometimes they dye by any cheap color like pink or green) Although hamsters may get "used" to people, there is not "tame" ever. Many of the children keep them with string. This is not good care for them, Most of them will weaken and die. And, as they move around actively at night, if they do not have good sand cage, many hamsters will escape from it. Because Talyxian cats and dogs eat them and there are no sandy grounds to hide, Hamsters cannot live in wild around urban areas.
