Ekay begins to converse with the mysterious sergal child, desperately rattling off a serious of questions about where the sergal is from and if they have seen his brother Pekk.
Somewhat typical of sergals that live in remote northern tribes, the sergal child’s speech is relatively simple and has a distinctive broken speech pattern. What isn’t expected, however, is that the sergal’s answers are rather mysterious, ambiguous… and decidedly unsettling. Are they truly suggesting that Pekk doesn’t exist?
